Breaking hearts and chewing gum. - 050617.2442
Secret Pirate has a forum on my other never-updated site which I updated today. The forum is
here. The site, itself, I won't link.
Don't let this go to your head or anything. After Blend started the thread, I got to sketching.
Then inking. Then I look again and there are like FIVE comments. So I uploaded this. And now... It's 7am
and time to feed the cats before their plot to drug me and consume my body for sustinance all MGS3-style,
complete with odd roars between bites and snake-throwing. I NEED SLEEEEEEEEEP!!1

I think this is called exposure? - 050402.2126
Secret Pirate was linked to by Little Fluffy Industries over the weekend,
starting the 29th of March. They linked my mirror of Nanaca Crash which is strange for a few reasons.
ONE - My hosted version (1.04) is pretty out of date. And 1.05 isn't the most recent version, as a quick google search
confirms. Go here for my mirror of 1.06. I uploaded it just for you.
TWO - How the hell did Little Fluffy find my site? I think I linked it in IC and got some second-hand linkage through
LJ a few days later, but nothing after a week. I totally forgot I even still had it in the old IC folder. I'm also nowhere near
the top of any google searches...
THREE - Nanaca is like sooooooooo two months ago. (burn!)
That's all. Enjoy my LiveJournal for Robot Awareness Updates. I can't think of anything else to put up here.
Uh, "two indies are coming soon?" How does that work out? God? Clearly a lie? Let me know please.
Many thanks again for leeching 2 gigs of bandwidth and pushing me past 2100 hits! I'll remember this when I'm rich and powerful, LPI.

Happy Birthday! - 050318.1808
Where oh where oh where did my mind go? All over the place it seems. I really should look into that whole "neck" thing
people keep telling me to "look in to". So...
The indies are a year old. WHEEEEEE!!! and all that jazz. I will post some interesting facts. Maybe like "Most Expensive"
or "Least Interesting" or more abstract categories as "Most Likely To Be Deleted On Accident"...
Whitout further ado, go check out the indies page, or just follow the
direct link here. Whichever suits your style. As for the next one
(or the missing ones), don't keep your fingers crossed. I have a few other things I would like to
clean up or do around the site before they go up. Honestly, the next one will be up in less than a week.
And it's not actually an the first indie adventure I shot with my new camera. There are two before it.
I think. I lost count, but rest easy knowing that... Something will be happening to them.
Huzzah!!

indies be damned! - 050314.1768
Hard to believe it's already been a year since the first indie Adventure went up... I guess it's only fair to explain
what's been going on these last few months.
After the last one, indie_022 (October 11th), I have been taking pictures and having little adventures of the
cheap variety, but the ... I dunna know. The "heart" is missing, somehow. Reading over the first 10 indies, I was always
having fun and breaking stuff. Maybe it's because I did the whole "walk the Yamanote" thing that I got worn owt writing them.
To a degree, it felt like I had to write them, like it was my job. It's not true, but still, they were they least fun to
write about. To their defence, the four-part massive quest around Tokyo is really the only indie I'm very proud of.
Never mind that it's size and scope goes against the whole "cheap loner in Tokyo doing something fairly interesting".
Wow. I loved doing it. I won't forget it as long as I live.
So then what happened? Was my writing less funny, edgy, confusing? I'm not saying I ever had one worth anything to
begin with, no. My style or web persona felt different after doing the Yamanote. Then again, this was roughly around
the time my finances really got tight. And by tight, I mean nonexistant. I couldn't eat like I used to, go where I wanted to,
hang out with classmates as much. I was the problem. I just couldn't get back in the mood. I still took pictures
and wrote the indies up and edited the HMTL and everything. I just didn't upload them. I've got 4 completed indies waiting
on my hard drive. I want to put them up now but they feel "too old". The recent three, all done in the last 2 weeks will,
I hope, snap me out of this funk or writer's block or whatever you wish to call it. I NEED to get these up and confirm to
you and me and maybe even Tails that I want to do this. Being forced to write or study things I don't want to write
or study has always caused troubles for me. It made me the rebelious, distracted student I am today. And on top of that,
I'm a chronic procastrinator. Sigh. I need a drink.
Some lemon tea.

Upgrade to 5.2!! - 050223.1605
If you:re seeing this, then the site is fully updated to 5.2!! Wee! So what exactly has changed around here? Hmmm.
Little, it seems. Mostly it:s a little cleaner, especially on the comics page, which never really "felt right" to me.
It:s probably got a few tweaks here and there. Ballisticrazy, my "other" comic will go up shortly. Something I will
not pimp in LiveJournal. Mwa hahaha! Let:s see if I can pace this one better than SP. Then again, I still have 18
panels of "Angst of Fighting : O1 : Burning Tears" planned out. Which will be my "color" comic. Unlike SP and BC,
it should play into color schemes and give me a gym to flex my painting muscle in. The only real issue is the style...
I:m thinking something gritty and dark. But it:s not easy to do that in a snowy setting. Woe is me...
Also fiddled with my Buzz Comics setup and how my counter works. Nothing too important. I:m talking
about a new indie Adventure or somethign. Oh yeah, more links are coming! I can feel them! Like the cosmos.

I:m not dead!! - 050211.1500
Nothing too big. In my defense, the last few months I:ve been meaning to update, but in a selfdestructive way, I decided
not to until I got back to Japan. Also, I would not update my LiveJournal and silence myself on the various forums.
I think I should write Michael now. I:ll do that next. Then back to photoshop and then a little writing before I call
it a night... sometime around 5am (local time). My roommates say they don:t mind. My keyboard is quiet enough, I guess.
So now to list off the changes around here!
1. New counter. Still free, so click on it to see who:s doing it. I like it. I could configure the colors
and everything. Now it:s at the bottom of the page. I guess more of you should have bought animal posters...
2. Slightly tweaked design. All pages will be 5.1 by this weekend.
3. EndlessChris is no longer here! Could ya tell? Did you even know??
(...He:ll be back, though... Maybe...)
4. New domain mapped, and that should be up and running by this
weekend (maybe). I:ll write a few things and post them there. Negative? Angry? Nonplussed? We:ve all been there.
5. New links are coming. I:ll be doing some banner exchanges with other web comicy guys and gals.
6. Added a BuzzComix link so you could vote for me. I don:t expect you too. But whatever, new comic coming
soon and all, I:ll EXPECT YOU TO THEN.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Also, I will speak breifly about the little Dreamhost ad over to the right. The one below
the "Send donations to pay hosting bill". If you are looking for hosting, may I endorse Dreamhost? Every time someone
I send a referral their way, and they sign up, I get a little coinage. Like many other people, I like getting coinage,
so click if you want to learn more about great hosting services Dreamhost offers. The little ad says it all, and for
the testimony (mine) let me say that I:ve had no trouble so far. A+, two-thumbs-up, it:s cheap and great, and all that.
Secret Pirate turned "1" year old. My how the time flies... Oh well, the new one is sketched out. Gonna upload it by
Saturday midnight... Maybe.
